Soren Carlbergg - Chronology

READ THIS FIRST:
The following chronology is a brief summary of the year markers of the artists life and only partially show the participation of the artist to his craft. During the artists life there has always been an involvement in painting, the creation of which has ebbed and followed over the decades (the primary periods are 1969-1971, 1978-1981, 1987-1989, 2006-).
With early success as a young artist fresh out of art school, other passions were also rivaling for attention. Music (guitar) remains another form of expression that has been constant throughout the artists life, from surf music through to blues and R&B.
Together with his wife and life-long partner Deborah, the decision was made in the mid-70's, to move from Sydney to the Byron Bay area, where like many others of his generation were interested in establishing an alternative lifestyle. Their hinterland property has been home for the Carlbergg's for near-on 30 years, there they have raised 2 children and Soren has an established studio where he paints and records his original music.
